Pros
It has a good bonus target. The salary is competetive. The 401 K match is good. More vacation days than other companies.
Cons
the Promotion is very slow. Not many offices. Most of people have to work in cubicles including assistant directors. No stock options for low level positions.
Advice to Senior Management
there is no stimulatuin. no matter how hard you work, or how bad you work, there is no encouragement or punishment.
Pros
pay, benefits, bonus potentials, opportunities for advancement
Cons
continual layoffs and lack of true communication
Advice to Senior Management
sales skills training would always focus on making quality calls, vs the quantity of calls, but, yet management continually focused on the number of calls made each day.
Pros
Great people, great benefits, great pay.
Cons
French management doesn't understand US market or workforce.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to some Americans sometimes.
Pros
Decent pay, good benefits, decent atmosphere.. They realize they aren't the best company in regards to sales and marketing. All action are dictated from Paris.
Cons
clueless ans spinelles management, Management never held responsible for their mistakes, Always changing territories, management, compensation system. Really no clue how to market or sale drugs.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop constantly changing you promises and competition system. Management is totally clueless to what works in the field. Start listening to your sales people.
Pros
the benefits are great and competitive
Cons
The pharmaceutical industry is down right now. Sanofi is suffering also, especially with its pipeline of products. I am not sure they have the new blockbusters coming down the road over the next few years to keep the company going as it did in the boom 1990's.
Advice to Senior Management
acquire new products to sell or enter into new partnerships...something new
Pros
Good place to learn and grow
Cons
Sale force reduction left many people not feeling good about the company
Pros
Decent benefits- this is changing
Great product
Cons
Upper management
layoffs constant
reactive
micromanagement
lack of respect
inconsistant
outsourcing
management by fear
forced ranking system
Advice to Senior Management
Treat employees like adults, trust them. Stop motivating by fear. Get organized. Treat sales professionals as professionals.
Pros
Great benefits, work life balance
Cons
The company has been very unstable for the last 3 years, many layoffs and a minimal pipeline. After 2 years of Thanksgiving layoffs, we were promised no more and we are going through it again. I feel like a contract employee.
Advice to Senior Management
Know what the other hand is doing before making a decision. It seems the organization doesn't communicate as a whole.
Pros
They pay you a lot of money for very little work.
Cons
Company is in a constant state of turmoil.
Advice to Senior Management
You need a whole new leadership team.
Pros
Good benefits, very good compensation, a lot of vacations.
Cons
100% fire fighting with no directions or guidance from the senior management.
Advice to Senior Management
The root cause is from Paris....The CEO may have great vision but there is no enabler to pave the path.
