    Pros

The company has great benefits. The site interactions are excellent. The company has good flexibility. Descent salaries. Overall the site is a good place to work

    Cons

The upper management outside the site lacks of comprehension and understanding of the site needs. The site has no direct support from HR, IS and other departments which makes it difficult some time to achieve goals.

I have been working at Sanofi Pasteur full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The compensation is fair and benefits are good, although they are always cutting back
There are opportunities to learn a little from other departments

    Cons

There is no opportunity for development and upper management does nothing to retain good talent.
The turnover rate is really high and nothing is being done about it.
Upper management is out of touch and does not value their employees.
Work/ life balance is terrible and tons of overtime is expected in order to proceed every week.
    Bonuses and raises are dwindling

I have been working at Sanofi Pasteur full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Nice people to work with. Reasonable work life balance and slightly better compensation

    Cons

Benefit costs are rising yearly to the point that they are not a competitive advantage. Salary and bonus's are not keeping up with the industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strive to maintain and hire the best employees to drive the company to succeed.

I worked at Sanofi Pasteur full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay, great benefits especially vacation time. Overall seem to care about employees and making a work environment that can be enjoyed. Provide tuition reimbursement for undergrad and Master's degrees. Excellent 401K match provided.

    Cons

Highly regulated by the FDA and the stress that comes from routine FDA inspections. Hiring freeze has limited your ability to move up or to a different department within the company. Depending on the department can be highly competitive and overtime is encouraged especially for projects with unrealistic deadlines. This can be frustrating.

I worked at Sanofi Pasteur full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Benefits, vacation time, most of the people

    Cons

HR leadership in ComOps was a joke
Sales Leadership has 500 sales representatives running in different directions every week
    Merits below 2% each year
Talent in Swiftwater is awful and leadership is naïve because their skills are worse

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Because a person is loud and persistent, doesn't make them a good sales leader and you shouldn't listen to them

Former Employee - Manufacturing Tech II in Swiftwater, PA

I worked at Sanofi Pasteur full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers were great and always willing to help. Projects are meaningful and working with others off site is nice. Manager was very open and friendly.

    Cons

The swiftwater campus is in the middle of nowhere. If you don't want a 30min or greater commute then your only option is to set up a shack in the mountains. Some departments are understaffed while others are overstaffed. If you work in manufacturing then buy a snowmobile because manufacturing is rarely shut down due to bad weather(which is understandable but still a con). Third shift isn't the best either during the winters.
