    Pros

On-campus, competitive rate, similiar peers, good teamwork chemistry. Enjoyed working with computers and the downtime it provided for doing homework/reading

    Cons

Shifts are a little irregular, sometimes asked to come in during the weekend for emergencies

    Advice to Management

Offer more shifts broken into smaller sections

    Pros

Beautiful campus, wonderful coworkers, flexible work schedule in some departments. Free use of gym. Most people who work here are genuinely happy to be here.

    Cons

Staff receive among the lowest pay in the area for comparable positions, especially as all positions require at least a bachelors degree, and advanced degrees are preferred.

    Advice to Management

Staff salaries need to be higher, especially for this area. I am only able to work here because my spouse makes a "real" salary.

    Pros

Very pleasant culture, nice people, great co-workers and camaraderie.

    Cons

The pay for non-executive staff is too low given the cost of living. Even with good benefits, the pay is still too low.

People come to SCU and don't leave, so the internal promotion opportunities are severely limited.

My last manager was a horrible micro-manager... she made me miserable for three years.

    Advice to Management

Raise salaries for non-executive staff, create more internal career opportunities for current employees.

    Pros

I had flexible hours, Nice supervisors, accommodating co-workers, and a nice campus. Ability to apply to different departments and sectors.

    Cons

Pay is low, too much idle time, supervisors did not always have clear goals for me. Mostly good though.

    Advice to Management

Higher pay and incentives to stay working at the same place. More skill building and less busy work.
