Pros – Surrounded by experienced and competent people at all levels.
Treated with respect.
Entrusted with responsibility and guidance is available when needed.
Cons – Advancement opportunities are little on the thin side due to the smaller size of the company. Communication between upper management and rest of company was sometimes an issue but only on occasion.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – There are many bright and talented individuals at the firm and the day to day interaction is enjoyable. Compensation is on par with industry averages and the benefits package is excellent.
Cons – Organization which has some very talented and intelligent execs who unfortunately are not very good at managing people. Information regarding corporate strategy and direction is not shared. Feedback is essentially non-existent. Most of the decisions are made by a few individuals who are stretched very thin and getting an audience can prove especially difficult.
Advice to Senior Management – Learn to share information such as strategy and direction with the employees. Employee evaluations and feedback need to take place on a more regular basis. Re-organize in such a manner that all decisions are not made by such a small group.
Pros – Good pay -- good time off
Cons – No advancement -- need to have growth path
