I have been working at Sarpino's Pizzeria full-time for more than a year

    Pros

New pizza Franchise small but very supportive. staff is friendly overall and really relaxed. there are multiple managers at the franchise and disperse the work very well between all managers vs having a few managers and increasing the stress burden on those managers.

    Cons

company could compensate drivers a little better. it isn' t bad but does not compare to other pizza places around the area.

I have been working at Sarpino's Pizzeria full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There's no limit to how many hours you can work. I've made over $1k in two weeks once, but nearly died in the process.
    Family atmosphere.

    Cons

There's no limit to how many hours you can work. And there's no over-time either.
You can ask for a day off but there's no guarantee you'll get it.
The pay is hysterically low! $6/hr for drivers, $8.25/hr for insiders and cooks.
Hours of operation are completely inconsiderate. Some employees get scheduled to work till 4am and have to come back to work at 10am the next day...

I have been working at Sarpino's Pizzeria

    Pros

You will be paid a better base salary than other pizza places. The food is great and you are proud of offering the best pizza of any chain I have eaten.

    Cons

They don't pay you anything for deliveries. The training could be more complete. The discount could be better. I think managers should be paid better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The best shifts (nights) should be offered to those within the company with a good tract record rather than new hires. The night shifts could be more tightly run as there is frequently better and more efficient day workers who don't spend have the time joking around. The day workers make less, yet in my experience often perform better.
