Advice to Senior Management
Please expand the portfolio of the services you are providing, act earlier quickly than waiting Hire some good managers and fire all of the non performing managers. We need aagressive management which strives for success

Mid Level Management is not so good and there seem to be lot of politics at that level
Advice to Senior Management
Job Rotation for employees across different functions. I have seen employees accumulating more than 6 years of experience in SAME project and that results in no improvement of skills.
Identify High caliber engineers and convert them to leaders. You have proposed an excellent Sasken Leadership Program, which should be implemented literally.

Pros
Good industry exposure - Opportunity to work across different parts of the telecom value chain
Low stress environment - Pace of learning is moderate and overall, good work-life balance
Long winter break - 3 week winter time-out!
Cons
Overall lack of cohesion among senior management - Things change every 6 months without a clear long-term goal
Business isn't growing resulting in limited individual growth opportunities
Advice to Senior Management
Look back at what worked best in the past for Sasken and do more of it. Sasken was known for being the industry leader in human capital and product development. There is a very relevant space for Sasken here. Why compete with other generic IT majors on their terms?
Pros
Good working environment and Culture
Used to - employ engineers from elite club - IIT/IISc/Top tier Colleges
Positioned as a 'tele&com communication" (Pro&Con)
Cons
Retrenched valuble resources in the Key Device Mgmt, Datacom domain
Make a wrong move of 60/40 during the recession time.
Advice to Senior Management
Immediate need to re-align in the telecom industry
Too many dead-weights in the leadership team.( Heard , all GMs are promoted to Asst.VP) - Duh ?!
Pros
- Employee friendly policies
- Transparency in decision making.
- Integrity of senior mgmt.
Cons
- Career path for senior technical staff has been a challenge.
Advice to Senior Management
+ Engage technical staff, many don't see future after 8-10 years of work. Need some one who can mentor 8 years - 15 years senior technical talent to stay motivated.
Pros
good exposure for junior level employees
good package
exposure to now technology
Cons
Not much technical growth options for experienced employees
Advice to Senior Management
Be more reachable to emplayees
