Pros
Good place to start the carrier, lean mixed technologies & manage teams.
Exposure to good clients and teams to work.
Cons
regionalism- people of one ethnicity rule the show, it gives out of different world feeling.
People from goverment sector who join the organization have major egos and temperament to work with.
Advice to Senior Management
Transparency with employees, remove regionalism and caste creed boundaries,
Accumulate people of same professional experiance other than people of various streams.

insurance benefit cover dependent like spouse n children and maternity as well

most of project manager are a desk manager,they dont want to dirty their hand to pick up and resolve any project issue and moreover just asking their team member to solve it as easy as point finger. Pls hire good and qualified project manager

Don't have to slog. You can balance your personal & work life.

Politics, red-tap-ism, favoritism, lower pay.

Identify & reward honest people instead of rewarding your own political favorites within the team.

6. Good "Fun at Work" initiatives like Satyam IDOL.
Cons
1.The Annual appraisal are not very fair. I feel there is a lot of favoritism over talent recognition.
2.There was a lot of apprehensions amongst employees about working in internal projects and client projects. internal projects were not considered as the best.

Management should educate all the freshers about how it is same to be on internal and external projects.
Projects that have been neglected due to the changeover from Satyam to Mahindra Satyam should be revived.

You really need to work on respect, honesty, integrity, and credibility. Open communications with humility from the top-down. Work on eliminating cross-geographical & cross-cultural politics

See the world with a neutral view. Companies have gone much ahead with their transparency. And the Software Engineers are also human, not machines.

Difficult to get promotions even if you work hard
Now lost most of the clients in north America. So not much opportunities in this region

it's a global company that you can work with coworker all round the world. You have many opportunity to face customers directly.

Employees are not cared very much by managers in our department. Sometimes, managers are not frank to employees, it's bad.

Managers should show more careness and respect to employees, can conduct some team building. And managers should learn to be frank, especially when they delivery bad message to employees.
