Pros
You just need to be lucky in SATYAM to get what you want, if your lucky you might have good project, professionally sound manager, good team mates and so on what you want in your professionally.
And if you are not lucky, you better should be a good sycophant (or.. i guess you got the word).
Cons
If you read the Pros you can definitely sense the cons. The biggest one is the management (specifically middle one) doesn't care even care what you want and managers are prejudice.
Advice to Senior Management
When you are a big service organization it right you are not and you cannot keep everyone happy but what is important try to hear and see the people who work for, not to the people who just talk.. Don't have a blind eye. they are many small things and big that could help but No need... Management never take advice.

2. Good support from superiors as well as subordinates.
3. Flexible working hours

5. Pay was always given on time.
6. Good "Fun at Work" initiatives like Satyam IDOL.
Cons
1.The Annual appraisal are not very fair. I feel there is a lot of favoritism over talent recognition.
2.There was a lot of apprehensions amongst employees about working in internal projects and client projects. internal projects were not considered as the best.
Advice to Senior Management
Management should educate all the freshers about how it is same to be on internal and external projects.
Projects that have been neglected due to the changeover from Satyam to Mahindra Satyam should be revived.

growth
