    Saudi Aramco

    Human Resources Consultant (Current Employee)
    Dhahran (Saudi Arabia)

ProsGreat expat package, you cannot beat their retirement and benefits package. You will work with some of the best business experts money can buy and you will learn an incredible amount about the middle east. There site security is incredibly good so you will be safe.

ConsYou are in a very conservative Muslim region and you will have to adjust to their culture to succeed. As an expat your promotional opportunities are limited

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure the expats you are hiring are culturally very open and please have another expat explain the salary, benefits and living conditions.

    Good but looking for better

    Systems Analyst (Current Employee)
    Dhahran (Saudi Arabia)

ProsPeople are very well educated and competent in their fields. Great community for Saudis and expats and good work-life balance. A lot of opportunities to develop and grow.

ConsWastah is their but minimal and people without wastah still can proceed and grow in the company. The company core business is very complicated and it's expanding which makes it more difficult. Not happy with many middle managers and executives decisions and I don't see them very qualified.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere are many great employees and leaders at this company but there are as well many who working against your vision and objectives. Those managers in the middle should be replaced immediately.
