Former Employee – worked at Sauer-Danfoss full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – -High value on personnel safety
-Lots of great, quality workers
-Can be a fun work environment if you like manufacturing
Cons – -Some lower level management isn't the greatest
-Some Engineers think they're better than the assembly workers who work on the product for 10 hours a day and won't bother to hear good feedback
Advice to Senior Management – Review your lower level management once in awhile. Some of the Facilitators care more about boating and golf than their employees.

2. some managers have no trust in other people

Former Employee – worked at Sauer-Danfoss
Pros – Generally very supportive of employees and dedicated to professional and first class performance. Employees are empowered and extensive hard and soft skills training are provided and encouraged. Many opportunities to work with team members globally.
Cons – There have been many changes in the company during the past few years, and it is unclear if the work culture is changing. The extensive head count reduction is putting a heavy work load on the remaining employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Management must provide a clear vision of how Sauer-Danfoss can maintain its product leadership with the severe reduction in engineering and capital resources.
