A lot of opportunities for highly motivated, mature and flexible professionals

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Moscow (Russia)

I worked at Sberbank full-time

ProsGreat leaders on the top with great vision and active position. Fast changing environment gives you many opportunities to find out what's your best and growth in it. There is growing international business which also means opportunities outside Russia.

ConsHard culture, especially for freshers - there is almost no support and you should be already very mature professionally as well as personally if you want to go up.
Lack of professional mid-level managers, huge gap between top and middle management vision and styles.

– I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Sberbank full-time for more than a year

ProsGood pace of development; has international divisions, so you have a chance to get a position in one of the foreign branches; rapidly growing international bank

ConsBank still has few remnants of the past (e.g. bureaucracy); greta size it's not always the best, so you have to adopt to such a 'machine', but it's also relevant for all kind of corporations

Heavy and sometimes unlimited schedule, ambitious tasks, interesting team

Project Manager (Current Employee)
Moscow (Russia)

I have been working at Sberbank full-time for more than 3 years

ProsAmbitious tasks initiated by top-management to transform Soviet bureoucratic bank into global leader on financial markets, competitive salary (in HQ), interesting and supportive team

ConsUnlimited working schedule, unclear or not established business-processes

Advice to Senior ManagementMany initiated projects are badly managed because of the lack of professional expertise, so most mistakes are required to fix in the process at high expence or by overloading the existing staff.
