    I worked at Sberbank full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent team. Good office in the most expensive area of the city, food is expensive too as a result.

    Cons

    I got the impression that Russian market and the banks obligation to follow government policy doesn't let the full potential of the team flow.

    I worked at Sberbank full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Above average pay;
    Great premises and food;
    Gym
    Middle management

    Cons

    No responsibility;
    No challenge: dull meaningless lowest-skill office work (e.g. typing numbers in Excel, mass-printing PP slides) 8 h per day/22 days a month - even for PhDs;
    Office politics and back-stabbing (even from your manager) - culminates before bonus pay-dates;
    People (low and top management, co-workers): most of them dumb and 'full of crap', others who are not, see you as a walking threat to their bonus;

    I worked at Sberbank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Professional experience is like a year for three, gained a lot of knowledge and skills in various fields working with this company. Sberbank let's yoube flexible - if there's too much work in your department - do something about it, can't get you more people so hire contract workers, yeah - it's harder working this way - then look in some other field o grow.
    Sberbank has it's own book library based on business books that Herman Greff chose himself - they're pretty good.
    I've grown through 4 job titles and think that isn't my limit.
    You get a 100% medical package (for employers 1 year +)

    Cons

    Work-life balance sometimes is not as good. My girl was waiting for me in her car for 2 hours, just because an important task from Moscow arrived, Many of your duties touch other departments and they're sometimes not so responsive taking your time away. New tasks arrive every day, sometimes every hour and you need to somehow integrate them to your schedule, which is allready full.... so yeah - frequent overtimes are normal. Large and professionally developed events earn you bonuses. Leadership is a must inthis company, if you want to grow professionally.
    If you're new - expect no support, you'll have to find out everything on your own and be proactive.

    I have been working at Sberbank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Recognizable brand, white salary, good compensation. Good career opportunities, friendly environment.

    Cons

    Overstaffed, lack of interaction between departments. Weak corporate culture, but this depends on the department and the personality of your boss. You rduties are not exactly prescribed. It may happen that you will need to do the work of other's department because of their low qualiffications. The CEO mood changes spontaneusely together with his vision, which can make your work useless.
