Pros
Great Benefits, Great Compensation, if you work hard you will succeed. Management is amazing, as well as counterparts. Great Car Program, Cell phone and internet reimbursed.
Cons
Merged with Merck, never ending lay offs, micro management. Access to rebates and vouchers in a city where they were highly needed were not available.
Advice to Senior Management
Urge your employees to use creative outlets to get to the decision maker. The doctors see 20 reps selling the same thing everyday. Sticking to the corporate way will never get you in the door.

Politics was too obvious, communication with management was not channelled

Advice to Senior Management
It is always important for management to listen to their employees, Actively listen. Sometimes it is good to have disorganized innovation and step outside the box.
Pros
Prior to 2000, I was at Schering-Plough Singapore and found the company to be a great and fun place to work. Staff are friendly and helpful, it has that small family feeling-- Kampong. Things may have changed a lot now after Merck's acquisition..

I think the place has grown really big and the atmosphere has definitely changed from the Kampong feeling to u know what esp.. after the M&A.. good luck.
