I have been working at Schlumberger full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Learn about oil field services. The benefits are good and you do get overtime and holiday pay. If you enjoy structured work then this is a good place to work.

    Cons

You do have to work a lot of hours for the money. Its a challenge working for such a large corporation. This company is driven by the gas economy so if there is a period of slow drilling then you have a chance to be let go.
