    Pros

good growth potential if product and organization integration is achieved; good employee orientation

    Cons

not a technology leader but maintains good market position; slow to evolve technology offerings; every job is customized for customer; market under rates its employees; transitioning some business areas from role of vendor to solution provider, i.e. beware of steep learning curve internally and externally.

    Advice to Management

Don't presume all pegs are round as some holes are actually square.

    Pros

For a global company, it really feels like you are connected with management. Every company can be as great as you make it but it helps to work in a place that offers many opportunities to interact with senior management. If you work hard, you will be noticed and given advancement opportunities in your career. It seems like they are very flexible to a mobile workforce, with many corporate locations to work from if needed.

    Cons

The systems often come in the way of the analysis but they are always looking for ways to simplify, innovate, and digitize. The vision and being a part of making better, more integrated systems and processes makes working here exciting. Work life balance is a bit tricky during the peak times, but I have yet to work a company in which that is not the case, perks of a corporate finance career

    Advice to Management

I would urge them to invest more on brand recognition. For how large this company is, it seems like not many people are aware of its existence. Perhaps the cost benefit analysis deemed this a lost cause.

    Pros

Cool laid back atmosphere. They seem to truly appreciate their employees and view them as assets unlike other companies I've worked for.

    Cons

I've only been here about a month now, so I really don't have anything negative to say.

    Pros

Great Company to work for, people are good, products and technology is great, they invest a lot in their people, nice working culture

    Cons

Very complex structure, different BU teams don't speak to each other, lots of under current, internal exhaust and too many processes

    Advice to Management

Listen to front line. Make manager accountable and they should own accounts and visit customers.

    Pros

I worked with some really good people while I was there. They cared about what they were doing and were very competent. The benefits were good.

    Cons

I worked in the creative department based in West Kingston, RI and as I understand it, there have been some major changes since I was there starting with the firing of the CMO. But basically he ran a department based in fear. The managers were all friends and hold-overs from the old APC days and were grossly incompetent. They basically outlasted any real talent that may have been there. Since they were all fearful of the CMO they ran the designers and writers into the ground. The mantra was that quantity over quality. 150 mock ads/ concepts produced just to please a suit, most of which weren't very good? You better believe it. This resulted in long hours. Plus when "important" projects came up, we would get emails telling us the weekends we were going to be working for the next 7 weeks. It was just ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

If you have someone who is overseeing design, but they have no degree or experience in design, they should not have anything to do with overseeing the design department.
