I worked at Scope International full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great working environment to develop yourself and build good networking. Good benefits laid out.

    Cons

Management is getting very poor, lacking humanistic touch, forced to handle matters not listed in initial job scope. On a personal note, delays and bad management on my [and my peers] renumeration matters brought major losses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training given for CS consultants are not sufficient, compensations are not prompt; hence many [CS Dept] leave upon 6 months of employment. Please look into social hierarchy politics amongst staffs as well as it gets very de-motivating.

Current Employee - Test Manager in Petaling Jaya (Malaysia)

I have been working at Scope International as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Nature of projects is wonderful. You can learn banking domain and experience multicultural environment. As a Test Manager, I was fortunate to coordinate among a number of cross geographical teams. This is THE reason I wanted to join Scope International. The projects and programmes are complex in nature and I found myself drowned in succession planning often. Although in my case, this was all in vain and every plan was a failure. Well software industry is just about that.

    Cons

The project I worked on was a pain. Either we had no plans by project team or else all plans were thrown to trash. I felt sick with changing plans everyday. I did more of "change of plan" instead of "planning" itself. Many project/products are outsources (vendor based) thus resulting in serious delays. Needless to mention, this results in budget overrun. I was let go for the very reason. Sad ah!
Some silent politics prevails. Beware, everyone is part of some lobby.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retain talent ... not the politician :)
