Great Opportunities for Student Growth and Experience"

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Scripps College part-time for less than a year

ProsScripps College prides itself on liberal arts education and its students truly embody the values of the college. For student workers, fairly easy to move up the ladder.

ConsSometimes hard to negotiate salaries. Salaries for students do not really improve over time.

An amazin

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Scripps College

ProsScripps is an amazing school with engaged students, committed staff and intelligent faculty. The small school environment affords you the opportunity to develop relationships across campus.

ConsBecause of it's size, there's not much room for promotion. The affiliation with the Claremont College Consortium can provide those opportunities.

A great place to learn, get experience in the field and be in a friendly working environment.

AV Intern (Former Employee)
Claremont, CA

I worked at Scripps College as an intern for more than a year

ProsI learned to use many different types of equipment, including cameras and audio. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always willing to answer any questions, teach you equipment use or show you how to fix equipment.

ConsA little more guidance is needed in terms of the expectations of interns and their duties. It could be helpful if a schedule is prepared so that interns follow it and execute different tasks every shift.
