    Pros

    Good Salary, work 1/2 the year. Rest of year off at home or vacations

    Cons

    1/2 they year stuck on drilling rig, miss events from graduations, birthdays, funerals, weddings, you name it!

    Incredibly knowledgeable people who are great to work with. Many opportunities to contribute ideas and elbow grease. Pay and benefits package is fantastic.

    Cons

    As a new and rapidly expanding company, Seadrill has predictible growing pains. The good news is that forums exist to get involved to be part of the solution.

    Keep up the great work!! Stay proactive and keep the pressure on safety, development and taking care of people. Remember to thank those who give their all.

    lousy benefits and salary as compared to other oil companies, do not benchmark benefits against hq in norway. cherish talents, not cherish bootlickers!
