You'll do good if you get a lot of credit card applications.

I worked at Sears part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Gave a good amount of hours if you put in the work.
    The time goes by fast.
    Coworkers are quite friendly.

    Cons

Management tends to show a bit of favoritism; not for being a good worker.
Management is down your throats about signing people up for the credit cards and rewards program.
    Understaffed most of the time.
    Do not give enough recognition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give praise to employees for doing other essential things around the store besides getting credit card applications.

I worked at Sears full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The product you are selling is easy to learn and is relatively cheap so it is possible to up-sell if you know what you're doing

    Cons

Upper management makes friends with young staff and does not hold them accountable. This creates more work for people who actually do their job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on the entry-level employees and do a more thorough hiring process

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
