I worked at Seattle Mariners part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Working at the beautiful Safeco field, friendly people everywhere, 50% off food on workdays.

    Cons

Had trouble fitting in, mostly because I didn't take the time to start conversations with others. Hard to find people to cover for you on busy promo days since often everyone else is scheduled for that day too.

I worked at Seattle Mariners as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Being able to take a break, and walk out of your office to watch the game ten feet away is an experience I'll never forget. Employees from the executives to the ushers are generous with their time, and nice. Everyone works toward a collective goal.

    Cons

The organization is divided up departmentally, communication between department gets fumbled occasionally. There was a sense of hierarchy in the office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Help bridge the disconnect between different departments, particularly with Game Day employees and office workers

surrounded by baseball all the time and work with a staff that is extremely helpful and fun to be around. Great place to have a career

I worked at Seattle Mariners as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The offices are inside the stadium, which is neat. Departments work together and are friendly. You get to park in the Safeco parking garage with a parking pass and walk across the skybridge to work. Most people have their televisions on when a game is in progress or they take a break to head outside to watch part of the game.

    Cons

The office scene can get kind of boring. Lots of people talk about golf and their next trip to the course.
