I have been working at Securitas Security Services USA
Pros – Opportunities to apply for jobs all around the country, if I wish to relocate and to get ahead even without advanced degrees.
Cons – Upper management opportunities for women are more limited although that seems to be changing recently.
Advice to Senior Management – Do better at keeping employees informed about how new initiatives are progressing. Often we hear about a "new way of doing business" once but not kept up to date on how such things are going. Are they working or not?
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Securitas Security Services USA full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – There are some co-workers that make the day go by well. They occasionally feed you (by this I mean left overs) You might be lucky to get a work shift that actually works for you.
Cons – The Manager of the NCC is a Micromanager
There are more supervisors than regular employees
The NCC manager understaff's the entire NCC for cost savings because they offer a lot of what you can call free services to clients
The Pay is Horrible
You wont ever see a bonus or a christmas gift/party
They will never close no matter what the weather or situation you will be expected to show up, and if they get you there in a horrible situation they will pay for you to stay at hotel so that you can be walking distance to work and basically be a work horse for them.
If you are looking for ANY employee appreciation this is not the company.
This departments structure is broken from the Top down and you will feel all the fustrations of it as an employee.
Advice to Senior Management – Your not running a slave ship- Try appreciating your employees and having better communication at the top! so that things flow a lot better and work is more efficient.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
