I worked at Select Staffing full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Quick to place anyone with some qualifications and degree, but the pay not so good as with many staffing agencies

    Cons

    Staff don't seem very helpful

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The assignment should not include multiple additional expectation/ requirement without pay after o the end of the contracted employment. Favors for a mismanaged office should not get pushed to the temp no longer working to preform and foot the bill.

    Pros

The pay and benifits were fine and acceptable

    Cons

If you were not "favored" by the manager you did not even receive a hello in the mornings. favoritism runs rapid in this office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Play fair and let people just do their job.

I worked at Select Staffing full-time

    Pros

Work environment, salary plus commission, ability to work autonomously, good support system regarding office operations, training, and name recognition

    Cons

Select Staffing has poor retention and does not really care about the employees the bottom dollar is the only thing that they care about. The communication is lacking and management does not have a leadership feel. The retention is very poor and they will lay you off without a warning so beware.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to communicate areas of improvement so that they employee has a chance to correct them before letting them go. Treat your employees like they are people and not a number that is generating income. Train management more thoroughly in leadership.

I have been working at Select Staffing as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Select Staffing is an employment agency that takes to heart what you share with them during your initial interview. They truly try to both find you your dream job or, if you're open to temp work, find the best places to work in the meantime! They are also warm and friendly - you feel like you're talking to friends.

    Cons

    I haven't encountered anything negative.

    Pros

There are no Pros for working with this company

    Cons

The office I worked for was horrible. The branch was not organized, they try to tell you that you have a future here and there. NOT TRUE! The area manager who worked there was not very nice. She is very selfish and racists. People came and went from the office. I worked very hard for the company but It felt like no one wanted you there, I tried doing everything I could. PLEASE DO NOT WORK THERE!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please do not be so fake!

    Pros

I'm not sure how they are now, but when I was using their services, I was happy they got me a job. I felt like the job wasn't paying the best, but at least I was able to have an income.

    Cons

Not enough branches, and the jobs weren't paying competitive pay....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Select Staffing full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Well, with the exception of meeting a few really nice hard working people, this has to be the worst place to work at.

    Cons

    *Very dysfunctional
    *Extremely UN-organized
*Very young branch managers (which is ok, IF they were mature & not wanting to gossip #allday about drama in upper mgmt.)
    *No real direction given
*Responsible to wear to many hats because of short staff & then get "in trouble"for not doing your job?
    *Extremely Short StaffStaff
    *No real training-just on-line
*MUST kiss upper myourgmt rear-end to keep your job. (sorry, no can do here)
*WORK 8:a-9:p because your salary, they expect you to, EVERYDAY!
*Say goodbye to family our personal life!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

&You are NOT above all, sorry. Change your priorities in seeing results of good employees as opposed to needing someones lips on your behind. Get extra help in your offices instead of sucking the life out of really good workers, you're going to lose them because they are going to get burned out very fast! Take care of your good employees, and not the ones who kiss up! Care that we have families and 10want to see them. *check labor laws about No lunc10hes, for employees who work over 10 hrs daily!
