I have been working at Self-Employment and Entrepreneur Development Society (SEEDS) as a contractor for more than 10 years

    Pros

For a decade I have had wonderful success working for myself as a communications specialist, writer and editor. I've learned how to market, execute contracts and attract return customers.

    Cons

My field is shrinking and with it the amount contractors are willing to pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want quality professional communicators, you need to pay us a living wage. Don't settle for someone in a foreign land who you will have to correct. It is far better to hire a native speaker with solid writing experience so that the job only needs doing once. Trust me, you get what you pay for.
