    ProsGood benefits and, if it were stuck to, a good mission. There's a long history of serving the vulnerable elderly. Hoping that they get back to serving them because they used to do good work.

    ConsThey have become so focused on making profits that the true focus, helping clients, has been lost. For the first time I am questioning why I went into this field of work because I don't get to use my skills. I'm a vehicle for creating income (none of which employees receive). If your program is not a moneymaker for them, they turn their back on you or stab you in your back. It's become a place with a great deal of sneaking around, lying and questionable ethics. Used to be so proud to work here. Not so much anymore.

    Advice to Senior ManagementYou should be supporting your employees, not punishing them. Stop going through the motions of pretending you care just because you have to show outsiders how great you are. You will get much more out of your employees if you treat them with genuine kindness and respect rather than leading with fear tactics. Wake up, there are a lot of unhappy employees here looking for the first opportunity to leave.

    Deceitful, VERY unorganized.

    ProsAbove minimum wage payrate of $10/hourly, my patients were great people, they work with you through life situations.

    ConsThey call last minute like the night before or day of for shifts to be covered, they lie about situations to get you to cover shifts, inadequate hours, pay rate is too low, you end up looking for other agencies.

    Advice to Senior ManagementPay your staff more! Treat them with respect, stop hiring if you don't have adequate hours.

    No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    I worked there for two years, some people are nice others are abusers.

    ProsI learn a lot by visiting 50 different offices, if possible work for any department that doesn't include HQ they seems not to be so friendly, In various offices where I visited different personnel they were very nice.

    ConsWorking with the Purchasing Department was hell, they don't give you break and it doesn't matter what you say or do, you must watch out for personnel, no one helps and HR will not back you up at all. When they say to speak to upper management HR steps back and doesn't help, you're on your own, to get you to lose your position all they need to do is write you up three times and you're out of their, they even walk you out like if you were just let out of jail.

    Advice to Senior ManagementYou must let HR act like a real department, instead of running it like a there's only one rule and no opinions are aloud. It's a shame, please certain personnel need to be checked and try not to back them up so close, especially when they doing things that they shouldn't be doing like asking for tickets for shows, twice, remember.

    A waist of time. There's no real instruction only a lot of talk which means management is clueless.

    Well Intentioned, Poorly Run

    ProsThe mission is really meaningful with many people doing their best to serve clients, the staff is friendly overall and the benefits are pretty good.

    ConsThe senior leadership is too concerned with covering their own backs in front of the CEO to report any real issues and dissatisfaction within the organization. It's not in their interest to discuss real challenges and therefore frustration among the lower ranks continue. The hiring is uneven with many higher level positions being offered resulting in a very top-heavy organization but few "doers" and skilled support staff.

    Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate, inspire and stop pretending as though everyone else is the problem...the issues always start at the top. It could be a good place to work with a little effort.
