Current Employee – been working at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
Pros – With the recent expansion there have been many new jobs added, so there is more room for advancement. Most of the co-workers are pleasant to work with.
Cons – Again, with the expansion, it appears that very little forethought was put into the general layout of the casino floor and where to put employee areas like break rooms, parking, and the extremely lacking restrooms for so many employees.
Advice to Senior Management – The happier your employees are, the happier your guests are. Weather it is meant to or not the trickle down effect from upper management shows on the floor employees and it reflects on the guests as well.

Former Employee – worked at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
Pros – Fun, busy and fast paced environment. - never routine. Friendly co-workers & clientele. Weekly paychecks. Uniforms. Varied shifts& schedules. Discounted meals.
Cons – Poor management & leadership starting at top trickling down to the managers. . Seriously lacking communication between management, supervisors & departments No job security. High turnover . Different rules for different supervisors. No appreciation shown. Supervisors play favorites. Leeway given to certain employees while other get fired.for same offense. Supervisors do not back their staff. No raise ($3.15 per hour) plus tips which are split. Earn PTO time - no holiday pay or sick days. Have to find someone to Cover your shift in order to take PTO day off and if you don't use them you lose them. No ventilation - smoky enviironment.
Advice to Senior Management – Communicate communicate communicate!!!!! Appreciate your staff especially the ones who have been there long. Provide every employee with a copy of disaplinary action & reviewsTreat ALL employees fairly - not just the ones you think are special.
