    Pros

While the work can be demanding, the management is very accessible and open to feedback. The training is good and the assistance from my coworkers is excellent. Great opportunity to make very good money.

    Cons

Benefits are good.. but expensive. A better 401k match would be nice.

    Advice to Management

Push the benefit vendors to make sure we are getting the best bang for our buck. While I am sure that Healthcare Reform is making everything more expensive, there must be ways to bettering our plans.

    Pros

Great earning potential, benefits, and atmosphere. There are a lot of great people on the staff and many will help you grow and develop. There is a real team and family feel to the company.

    Cons

Technicalities of the business can be time consuming and elaborate. There can be red tape when doing business and the clients can represent significant challenges. Potentially limited upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

Strive to maintain and strengthen the relationships within the company to ensure longevity of employment. Create more apparant opportunities for advancement so employees will strive to advance within the company rather than feel stagnant in their position.

    Pros

Great atmosphere for highly skilled liars and manipulators. Ability to make lots of income by taking advantage of a consumer base audience with the vast majority of customers not completing high school level education. great bars in bethesda area. If you are lucky, patient and take hundreds of swings, eventually you will catch a desperate customer who needs money via 0% loan or whack them via low cents on the dollar on future payment buyouts.

    Cons

No room for growth or promotion. Stagnant work place. Nasty industry that needs some form of oversight by a financial committee regulated by the state or federal government. The industry is the equivalent of the predatory and sub-prime mortgage industry with a twist. State lotteries and state AG's need to protect their citizens and ensure they are protected and not taken advantage by members of this nasty and unethical industry on both sides of the isle: structure -n- lottery. Industry needs oversight. Many customers served by top three factoring companies have destroyed many families across America unfortunately.

    Advice to Management

Keep stressing about the quarterly goals. you will end up divorced if married and will remain single if not married guaranteed. Most managers are bouncing from walls, threatening reps, back-stabbing each other and hire ups. Constant fighting with legal department to squeeze / fund all deals for quarter target.

Great opportunity to make very good money, but you have to be prepared to deal with a high pressure sales environment.

    Pros

Top sellers were making ridiculous amounts of money, company would take care of its employees with perks like free breakfast on Fridays.

    Cons

Not much room for future growth as there were tons of sales agents and already several VPs of sales.

    Advice to Management

Maybe spend a little more time training sales reps, but overall it was a great place to work.

    Pros

I worked on the sales floor and you can easily make over 100k, it's possible to make over 200k. You have to really commit yourself to it though, especially during the first 3 - 6 months. During that time if you focus on learning the sale, really grind away and put in extra hours to help you ramp up you will make good money. Once you have a good client base you can make good money working in a great atmosphere 39 hours a week.

    Cons

You have to be driven to see past the first 6 months where you won't really be making any commission. The reviews you see about this place being a revolving door are absolutely true, if you don't have what it takes. Those that do stick around, simple as that. A common saying on the sales floor was the only consistent thing at Seneca is change. Management changes, policies change and it can get really annoying especially when it directly affects your compensation.

    Advice to Management

Create consistent training program. Try not to change policies so much.

    Pros

Fun and Winning Culture around Team work, Great Compensation and earning potential(Best in the industry), and managers who want you to succeed. Coaching/Training Sessions to help you try to improve. Good PTO plan, 401k, gym reimbursement and free lunches often. Great people all with in the company.

    Cons

Expensive Benefits, Office is old and needs to be updated, Database is need of upgrades. Some great sales people but also some really weak ones hanging around.

    Advice to Management

Look to continue to build around Team Work Culture. Improve Benefit package and get cost down for the employee.

    Pros

Very nice employees. In general, good corporate culture.

    Cons

Sales pushed legal department to approve questionable deals. Too focused on quarterly growth goals instead of intelligent growth. Sales executives run the top positions instead of promotions based upon merit.

    Advice to Management

More collaboration between sales and legal. Legal should have final word on questionable deals. Better training.
