I have been working at Sensitech full-time

    Pros

Flex schedules, nice hourly people to work with, free education

    Cons

Upper management at the Redmond facility is the problem, no advancement opportunities, management has been there so long they will not change or listen to new ideas. Upper management lacks any coaching skills and will not appreciate anything you do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your people and develop them instead of ignoring them and lying to them about their future.

    Former Employee - Manager

I worked at Sensitech full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Some talented colleagues - who mostly leave out of sheer frustration
Part of a larger organization (Carrier)
Market leader and consistently good financial results (despite their inability to manage properly)

    Cons

    Micromanaging
    Inept Senior Management
Unprofessional - Snr Management have openly complained about the mother company, call other managers to get "scoops" on colleagues, gossip is rife.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop acting like this is a "family" and stop micro-managing. Hire competent people and let them do their job without constant interference. You need to change to keep up and grow.
