    I worked at Sensitech (More than a year)

    Pros

    Sensitech is a stable company with great benefits. The offices are clean and and well cared for. My peers were great people with a good work ethics. It is a great place to work.

    Cons

    Beverly is a nice town but a little difficult to get to. Like all big companies there is an inordinate amount of time spent on educating the employees with concerns of ethics, social behavior and company culture.

    Advice to Management

    The company is a great place to work but some of the managers are not listening to the employees when it comes to middle management.

    Supportive, collegial culture that fosters collaboration; Plenty opportunity for career advancement; Leadership team that cares about their people; Competitive pay and benefits.

    Double-edged sword of being a part of a Fortune 50 company (UTC); Inter-department communication can occasionally be silo'd;

    Pros

    The Sensitech senior leadship team is very focused on creating an environment that is open and honest. I like my coworkers and feel like I can grow. I like that employees are involved in different communities that impact the business.

    Cons

    Some of the policies as related to UTC. The parent company of Sensitech.There are multiple logins to access different websites that are needed for my job.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing. Your employees will continue to be happy.

    Pros

    Flex schedules, nice hourly people to work with, free education

    Cons

    Upper management at the Redmond facility is the problem, no advancement opportunities, management has been there so long they will not change or listen to new ideas. Upper management lacks any coaching skills and will not appreciate anything you do.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your people and develop them instead of ignoring them and lying to them about their future.

    Micromanagen Onbekwaam senior management. Onprofessioneel - senior management heeft openlijk geklaagd over het moederbedrijf, contacteren andere managers om een "primeur" over collega's, roddelen is schering en inslag.

    Micromanaging Inept Senior Management Unprofessional - Snr Management have openly complained about the mother company, call other managers to get "scoops" on colleagues, gossip is rife.

    Advice to Management

    Doe niet langer alsof het een "familie" is en stop met micromanagement. Neem competente mensen aan en laat ze hun werk doen zonder ze continu te storen. Je moet veranderen om bij te blijven en te groeien.
