    Pros

At Sequoia Hospital I worked with a great team of nurses always working together to provide great patient care to our customers.

    Cons

Working as a nurse it is often too busy to provide the optimal care that all patients deserve to provide environment that is optimal for healing

    Advice to Management

The benefits are excellent but they need more nursing help.

    Pros

With any luck they will be taken over by Sutter.

    Cons

Leadership has been on a steep decline. New COO implements the most nonsensical projects I have ever experienced. They all fail. Morale is at an all time low, people are fleeing. Too much time spend on trying to NOT accommodate patients on COVERED CALIFORNIA,, rather than how to accommodate them in this new healthcare environment. If I hear BOUTIQUE HOSPITAL one more time I will lose my mind. It's a hospital for goodness sake!

    Advice to Management

Forget the whole "hellohumankindness" and get back to basics. Providing healthcare. Time to retool the Senior Leadership OPS Team.

They helped begin a practice but did not offer enough support.

    Advice to Management

Look more carefully at the contribution physicians -it looks like they have aleady done this.

    Pros

Benefits and the cordiality of co-workers. Nice surroundings and the mission of helping people.

    Cons

Not many opportunities for advancement due to small size of organization.

    Advice to Management

Better understand overhead costs so that cost reduction isn't just eliminating FTEs. Need to better align with physicians and adjust fee schedule to be competitive in the market.

    Pros

This hospital has a very family-like environment because most people have worked here for so long that they've known each other for years.

    Cons

One downside right now is the construction, which has caused the cafeteria to temporarily shut down, but this will all improve when the hospital has been renovated.

    Advice to Management

Stop ignoring the people who aren't doing their jobs well and take action to either help them improve or find another job.
