I have been working at Serco

    Pros

    - Get great exposure to work with senior executives like strategy directors, CEOs, etc.
    - Some favorable leadership changes happened in the Samurai team of which I was a part

    Cons

    - Overall, Serco is too thinly spread across so many industry verticals
    - With the arrival of a new CEO, key strategic changes are expected - some of these may include divesting some businesses

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - My advice to the leadership of the Samurai team in Gurgaon - continue the good work, and do nit roll back the leadership changes that were affected last year.

I have been working at Serco full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Lack of communications is often reported, however the staff members on site receive frequent visits from their contract managers, online publications are sent by email, there are periodic meeting with the staff & management. Serco is an outsourcing company, when problems occur there are often related to the employee's direct environment on site, seldom with Serco.

    Cons

New contract & projet managers & team leaders, are recruited outside and put in charge of important contracts while experienced technicians knowing the needs of the clients stay stuck on their current position, the only possibility of evolution is often to find another employer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not that bad but can do better in order to use their human resources.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
