    Pros

    Pros

People really care about the work they do and it shows. Each franchise is independently run, so the opportunities to market your franchise as an individual business are really interesting and rewarding.

    Cons

My specific franchise was small so the learning opportunities weren't as expansive as I would have liked.

I have been working at Servpro Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This will depend on the franchise you work for, the Pickens Count S. Greenville Franchise. Flexiable schedule when you need off, relax dress code.

    Cons

Horrible Communication between workers, unfair treatment, no benefits and rarely a raise.

    Advice to Management

This is based on the franchise I work for but they owners need to step into the 21st century, don't use so much paper, and way better communication so everyone knows whats going on.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Servpro Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Profit sharing, paid holidays, fitness center, friendly employees, executives seem to care about employees as a whole, and quarterly employee lunches.

    Cons

Not much individual recognition from executives, inflexible work hours, business professional dress code that is sporadically enforced, and micro-management by many department managers.

    Advice to Management

Update the company culture: implement a more casual dress code and allow flexibility in work hours. The old style of Servpro turns away many potential and current employees. Recognize outstanding employees and trust them to do their jobs without constantly looking over their shoulders.

I worked at Servpro Industries full-time

    Pros

Great corporate! Great potential to be a great job! Great place for attention to detail.

    Cons

Micromanaging, lack of actual training, clicky in the office, a lot of turn over, non organization that is in place is your fault after 3 weeks of no training, no one even knows how to do the job you were hired for, no one cares to tell you what the expectations are. A lot of current employees will tell you everyone who quit, why, what the owner does in their personal life, you get basically a truck load of unhappy co workers telling you everything they shouldn't and not actually training and they only know your duties they are training you on poorly. ServproNET is not a trainer. It does not tell you everything you need in place of actual training.

    Advice to Management

Get new management. They are never accountable and push responsibilities on subordinates instead of doing it themselves. And micromanaging isn't helpful either when you don't do any training.
