    Pros

    Highly professional staff, adequate benefits and good leadership at the local level.

    Cons

    There seemed to be a number of false starts and changes of direction imposed "from on high" sometimes with little or no notice this caused a fair amount of grumbling within the staff and inefficiency.

    Advice to Management

    Reduce the frequency of policy changes and allow sufficient time for the existing plans to work or fail on their own.

    Currently NONE!
    This company used to be a great family oriented place that everyone used to love...

    Cons

    Everything...
    New CEO does not care about us "hard working employees" and firing so many great existing employees including managements...

    Advice to Management

    New CEO needs to stop pushing great managements and employees out the company because those great people will eventually take the rest of them from this company and destroy you 'til no more Severn Trent!

    Pros

    The people make the difference and always will.

    Cons

    The culture of people, respect, and mutual support give way to the bottom line. People are just tools to acheive a financial end. Very sad it has become all about business.

    Learn the roots of the business.

    producs quality products. Has good rank and file employees

    Its become more difficult to work there w/what's being forced on us by mgmt

    Need to replace all upper level mgmt ASAP. The current regime is leading us into an abyss.

    Pros

    The time i was working there they were going through system changes updating their very outdated system with a much needed upgrade. My immediate management was always super friendly and able to accommodate my needs if it was possible for that to happen.

    Cons

    The company as a whole did not give the employees the kind of respect that they deserve for working there. The floors were pulled up from water damage and cubicles were eventually turned into picnic tables. The company does not value their employees enough to compensate them for their efforts and take care of the work environment.

    No Pros. Nothing positive about this place.

    Cons

    Management is a joke. They DO NOT, WILL NOT, NEVER WILL, listen to the people who are doing the work that keeps the company going. They are losing and will always lose good workers because they will train them but will not treat them fairly. If you are looking for a job and really need one I would suggest that you keep looking. But if you are desperate take the job and continue to look ON THEIR TIME, because you will need one.

    Pros

    Initial great experience before company began acquiring smaller manufacturing facilities around the US.

    Cons

    Management, both corporate and local, have a resistance to listen to the 'worker bees' and learn from past mistakes.

    Too far gone to make substantial change with current management.

    Pros

    Good benefits and 401k. Nice equipment. Very safety minded. pay is ok but you will not break the bank

    Cons

    little to no management, no feedback on work quality, rules are wrote in pencil, extreme amount of turmoil, gossip and drama. be prepared when you turn in your notice to leave (Austin, TX office) to be regarded as worthless and a traitor.

    Advice to Management

    Austin, TX office---Quit and do the company a favor and get off the 3% raise BS and pay your people to stay instead of pocketing the bonus money that you tell the employees don't exsist

    Pros

    They will spend thousands of dollars training and educating you for their needs.They will send you to college to become state certified operators . They will pay for books ,certifications, room and board while at school.

    Cons

    They will not spend the money on keeping you with the company. They give very small raises if any. When you complain about the cost of living. They say well its the Matrix of the company. To try and keep costs down and profits up. They will lose a worker to competitors then give a pay raise.

    Advice to Management

    Talk to the workers, see what there needs are or complaints. Most management seldom leave their office.
