Pros

The pay is competetive and it's a job. One of the few companies that still have a pension plan. They give out a substantial bonus at the end of the fiscal year. They will send you to school for certifications. On-call duty is compensated and you only have it twice a year.

Cons

Lower management competency level is very low no experience in the industry. They don't have a clear path promotion structure. No individual development plan. Jobs are not planned out or budgeted correctly. No project management system. Benefits are expensive and offer minimum coverages. They haven't showed any significant growth within 5 years.

Advice to Senior Management

Come up with more structure within the company and promote based upon qualifications.
