    Pros

You get a salary and work with some great people

    Cons

Leadership is out of touch with reality. They just keep changing because they can. They never think anything through. When a directive comes you are given the high level instruction when you get stuck on the everyday implementation and ask questions - you get in trouble. An ideal place for yes men and lap dogs. In the few months I was there they were too busy to give the periodic 1,3 or 6 months review. On the 6th month I am told I don't meet the requirement.
If the requirement is to say yes to everything then yes I did not meet that requirement. However in that period I was on over 5 project/ programs which kept changing in priority and I still manage to be ahead of Schedule for the billing project for which I was initially assigned resources to work with ( someone who had been interviewed and hadn't accepted the job offer) yes that's how confused they are.

If you want an ulcer or to go insane, take up a role here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give people the tools to work. Somethings just take time, you can't have a baby in one month by getting 9 women pregnant ! Think think think!

This is one of the most toxic environments I have ever worked for in my life. This company lives & dies by its stock.

    Pros

Entrepreneurial culture - you can do a lot in your role.

    Cons

Not open to new ideas or processes. A lot of stupid people that have been there for too long get promoted to management. A lot of people will back stab you if they think you are a threat.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Interesting projects, and I enjoyed the work I was doing. Great coworkers, and good learning oportunities.

    Cons

Terrible senior management in the area that I worked in. They were driving people away. They lost a lot a great employees. It was like a revolving door, especially or project managers. Employees had little trust or respect for management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They wouldn't take advice if offered, so what is the point:)

    Pros

Company does put together a good benefits package and does listen and respond to their employees

    Cons

Salary & Compensation is adequate but not exceptional. Could be a little more competitive in salary against similar and competing organizations. The lower salaries may be a result of the superior benefits packages.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less micro managing and more engagement. Bring about more company culture, interactions, communication, and intellectual events. Let the employees feel empowered with freedom of flexibility.

    Pros

I worked with great people on my team. They were dynamic and dedicated. Many of us have left for greener pastures. The pay and benefits are great, too.

    Cons

The cream doesn't rise to the top. Shaw likes to promote yes-men and pencil pushers, not anyone who has actual leadership qualities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value your people. And value your customers. Stop putting out crap products and services and go back to your roots.
