Pros – small company atmosphere - big company benefits.
solid growth that is sustainable
Cons – we have very large and tough competitors
Advice to Senior Management – be stronger leaders
have higher expectations

I have been working at Shazam full-time for less than a year
Pros – It is a much adored consumer app with mega usage. People love the service.
Cons – Organizational dysfunction is difficult to navigate. Onboarding is non-existent. There are several people who are power hubs that you need to get around in order to be effective.
Advice to Senior Management – co-locate all of your product and engineering functions
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Shazam full-time for more than a year
Pros – - Super interesting collection of international talent.
- Ability to work on cool new areas within the field, no limitations to find available solutions to various problems
Cons – I work from home, so I miss the collaboration and interaction with co-workers.
Also, since it is based in London, sometimes the US employees and benefits are somewhat neglected, but it's being fixed...
Advice to Senior Management – Start to look at the patterns of Silicon Valley and other hot technology areas for attracting talent to exciting start ups.
