    Pros

The best reason to work for them is that you have opportunity of being properly trained; working your way up to being a jouneyman and getting top pay for what you do. It does not stop there you further your training through the JATC. One also does get health insurance, retirement, and a 401K.

    Cons

The only cons are really on oneself; such as attitude, personal responsibility, etc. The tools are given to each and every individual. It's up to them to make a go at it. This a type of work, like anything else, that is not for everybody.

    Advice to Management

The management of the local is comprised of elected officials. They do something the membership does not like, and they could be voted out.

    Pros

Wages and benefits are very good

    Cons

Unfair, only those they like receive raises and promotions. When they do not want you to work there anymore, they will do whatever they like to get rid of you.

    Advice to Management

They cannot be advised. They think they are so powerful that they cannot be touched. Very sad....

    Pros

Great Location. Decent pay. Good Benefits.

    Cons

White Trash meets Desperate Houswives in the heart of D.C. Parking is super expensive. Gossip, Back Stabbing. Two sister's and a daughter working there?? Sheet Metal Unions are not as powerful as they use to be.
