I had an excellent experience at Shoppers Drug Mart.

    Pharmacist (Former Employee) Toronto, OH

ProsThe best reasons to work at Shoppers Drug Mart were the friendly workplace environment and the high salaries comparing to other companies.

ConsThe disadvantages of the company were the little vacation period and the extensive hours of operation comparing to other companies.

Not a bad place to work during college

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThis served its purpose while I was in college by paying the bills and offering a somewhat flexible schedule. The pay is pretty standard when comparing it with other retail jobs.

ConsMy management has been pretty questionable at times, but that will depend on the individual store. Scheduling often isn't as flexible as they make it sound, and we've had fairly high turnover which can be a bit draining. Not much room for advancement in the company, but that's not what you come here for.

Great benefits; hard to survive with the wages.

Front Store Supervisor (Current Employee) Coal Harbour, BC (Canada)

ProsThe coworkers are like family love working here. Everyone is friendly and willing to help each other out!

ConsAssociates are cheap and pay us supervisors so poorly. I've worked for 5 years and I barely get paid more than minimum wage. Experience means nothing.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf supervisors are next in command after management. We should get paid as so.
