    Pros

It was a great pleasure to work in 2014-2015 Student Government. Work was not very stressful, I was able to devote majority of my time to study. Work schedule was free, although they allow to work not more than 17 hours per week. Great contribution into your future resume. Very diverse community. Many international students.

    Cons

Can't come with any, it is a student's part-time job and it speaks for itself. You are not gonna make a lot of money but if you like being active and revolve around young people this is a great opportunity for realization.

    Advice to Management

The management was great and supportive.

    Pros

Beautiful, well-maintained campus. Hard working staff and faculty who care deeply about doing the best job they can to benefit both students and coworkers.

    Cons

There is a lack of leadership and skill in management campus wide with only a few exceptions. There has been a vacuum in senior management that has contributed to poor oversight of budgets and spending. The most recent accreditation committee found serious issues that violated labor contracts. There is a long-standing environment of hostile, bullying treatment of staff and faculty in many departments by numerous administrators.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and don't demean their input and value to the college

    Pros

dedicated faculty who believe in what they are doing, nice campus

    Cons

horrible politics and hostile working conditions, non-existent union representation and HR department. Disgusting, under-qualified management allowed to continue unscathed as classified staff are mis-used and abused. Mis-use of student funds, poor direction and decision making.

    Advice to Management

clean house. Get rid of the super lifers who don't have a clue how to manage or what the real world operates.

    Pros

Large gymnasium, and campus is easy to get to.

    Cons

Hires coaches that have little to no qualifications to be coaching at the collegiate level.

    Advice to Management

Ask for feedback from players about coaching staff and reevaluated regularly.

    Pros

Most of the employees are dedicated to serving students and are great at what they do. The campus is beautifully landscaped and set away from busy streets. It's a nice, quiet atmosphere.

    Cons

Because of budget cuts, staffing levels continued to drop. This meant that those who were still employed were doing their own jobs plus the work of those who got laid off. It created a stressful environment.

    Advice to Management

Recognize staff and faculty for their contributions. Students bring in the tuition money, but without staff and faculty, there will be no one to serve the students. When staff and faculty feel appreciated, the work environment improves, even with budget cuts.

    Pros

I enjoyed attending Shoreline Community College because the staff were very helpful and the classes were well instructed. The campus is beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves start changing colors.

    Cons

Some of the classes were taught at such a low level. Additionally, some of the students, the younger ones, made class less professional.

    Advice to Management

The class that teaches Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint is poorly run. It needed real world applications like mail merge instead of a quarter worth of busy work.
