Former Employee – worked at Shutterfly
Pros – Was a fun place to work - very cool products & solid management team. The enthusiasm and passion to excel as a company was shared by managers up and executives.
Cons – As long as you did your job and played the game (politically) you were safe. Dissatisfied employees were rarely given the chance to communicate and effect positive change. Many employees simply left and were replaced with more junior people so those who stayed had to pick up the slack.
Advice to Senior Management – Acknowledge the people and celebrate to successes at all levels of the company. Spend more time interacting with the people in Phoenix and Charlotte in an open and positive manner.
