    Pros

Great Benefits. Global Opportunities. Very Good People. You feel that your job is important and stable. Very good reputation both internally and externally.

    Cons

Matrix organization with a lot of bureaucracy. Lower pay compare to competition. Little effort to make you feel connected to the Siemens organization as a whole.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make salaries and opportunities more competitive. Shorten the hiring process. Attract more high quality personel. Make people feel apart of the company as a whole.

I have been working at Siemens Energy & Automation

    Pros

    The company has great benefits.
Co-workers are friendly and willing to help with problems.

    Cons

The company is far too process-oriented.
There is a lot of red-tape for any action you would like to take.
It is nearly impossible to get the Controllers to approve any money spent for internal projects.
Engineers get 3-4 years of experience, then leave for competitors or operating companies, due to lack of advancement opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide a clear career path for young engineers.
    Remove unneeded processes.
