Pros – Good for starting a career, offers opportunities for development on a horizontal or expatriate-mobile direction. Vast knowledge and experience pool.

Cons – No active sales mindset. No synergies between business units, feudal culture. Career development overly dependent on direct supervisor. Lower than average compensation and benefits.

Advice to Senior Management – Get over the scandals, focus in the private sector and nearshore business. Build a cooperative culture and reward key people.

I have been working at Siemens Greece

Pros – Tremendous Knowledge spot, possibilities to gain very good experience in various technologicals subjects, very advanced systems of project and key account management (set up lately). Till recently very good internal atmosphere and camaraderie.

Cons – Bad senior management attitude businesswise and in internal relationships, no recognition of achievements, discriminatory promotions and benefits, no organised benefits system. No established CRM system on company level (in general not even on business unit level) and very poor performance of ERP system. As result great loss of time on non productive issues

Advice to Senior Management – Make deep and bold changes in organization, promote and enforce new generation professional attitude, communicate sincerely with all levels of employees
