Pros
Working time is very flexible. The managers are very helpful and kindly communicating with the employees. The job is quite stable, as Siemens usually has one big plan made for 10 years. People can benefit from the enough time to make schedule and design reviews. Besides, as a giant in every important fields, Siemens runs quite stably, and there is no worry about losing a design job during tough economy environment.
Cons
For some people, it is not that desirable working place since it's very stable. New ideas will not be very quite implemented since there are too many issues to be considered in a giant company...
Advice to Senior Management
Get more technical people to support, such as the support on CAD tools.

they have very deep experience on MDs, very experienced engineers in Germany, so if you get enough time, you can learn really useful things there.
Cons
they are very slow on talking salary increment, and their yearly evaluation about performance is very hard to get a 'A' .

they really need to take better care of their good engineers, not only their businessmen. no other thing want to say.

You can feel the management style is changing, to build a more transparent place with clear differentiation. great global network.

too many incompetent people hanging around and damaging the company's reputation. lack of efforts in people development. heavy processes to slow things down.

listen to people, embrace change, be open, be more strong in execution, focus on people, create a fair environment for people to grow, not just keeping everyone happy.

Huge company that can provide a huge diversity of experience. Very complex environment that can bring out the best in people.

The company promotes top performers (which is great if you are a top performer) but is not much use if you are in the other 95% of the employee population.

Focus on building all employees, not just the top performers. Need to improve communication with meaningful content to all employees and not just the top level.
Pros
I love interacting with our customers and helping them solve their problems. The people are very motivated and creative and the lower levels.
Cons
Upper Management does not provide leadership and direction. This is like a big ship floundering in the ocean. This company makes money in spite of them-self.
