I worked at Siemens as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Got to work on an interesting project in an group doing a lot of reasearchy work. Very fun!
German division has great work/life balance - you very rarely see people working after dinner.
Lunch food is well-priced as well and everyone goes there to socialize daily.

    Cons

I didn't see much to complain about with my particular job but if I were in a different group/division then perhaps.

    Pros

This is a well run organization. It is very hard to get in, in my opinion that gives me more confidence that they don't just hire any guy off the street. I have an unbelievable resume.

    Cons

I wish we had a local website and could feel a little more small townish at times.

    Pros

I had the chance to make good money here. I didn't work that many hours and worked with a lot of good people. Overall a good job

    Cons

The daily routine is kind of a drag. It gets redundant day in day out but they do pay well.

I have been working at Siemens as an intern (more than a year)

    Pros

It is a company that wants you to ask questions, look for problems, make suggestions for improvement and best of all, they reward you for it!

    Cons

Siemens is a very large company so a lot of the processes take longer than many companies. But Siemens being so large is also a great Pro.

I have been working at Siemens as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay for an intern, Relaxed atmosphere, non-obtrusive management, relaxed dress code, good people.

    Cons

Training left something to be desired; you are left having to learn on the job. It can take a while to get really started here. There are times when "input" is more readily availible than "Answers".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wouldn't change much. Fewer meetings, I guess. In fact, I think the one major issue is that Siemens puts too much on their managers.
