    Pros

They Have good benefits and this is a great place to get your experience before moving on.

    Cons

There are certain mangers and directors that play favorites. It seem like if you are not the same ethnicity as them, they don't listen to you, or they seem to give preference to those that are the same as them. Also there are certain mangers who don't like to hear about changes that will make the company better. Instead, if you don't think the way they do, they will fire you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to hire mangers and driecotrs that are not biased and be willing to listen to advice or suggestions from the employees.

I have been working at Sierra Circuits full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Given great latitude to ensure products and services are met.
-Senior sales are very helpful and willing to take the time out of their schedule to help.
-Given engineering support for complex build
-it's close to 7-11 and Starbucks, nice for a 15 min break!

    Cons

-There are some micromanagement but not too overwhelming. This should only be limited to newer employees that requires more attention.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give sales more incentives to meet our target goals! We have a great team and share the same vision. Team goals, paid vacations and end of year bonuses, these are some motivators to get it done!

I worked at Sierra Circuits full-time for less than a year

    Pros

NO pros at all, I absolutely hate it!

    Cons

    Everything and more!!!!
    - Management is horrible, they lure you with false promises.
    - You will end doing exactly the opposite of what you like or what you signed for.
    - They FORCE all their employees to work EVERYDAY at least 10 hours and you have to sign your acceptance the first day of work. Of course they never tell you this when they are interviewing you.
    - The most depressing environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your employees are not your slaves... put that on your head. Treat them like human beings.

I worked at Sierra Circuits full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Provided an opportunity for employment.
    Met some nice coworkers.

    Cons

Owners suffer from delusions of grandeur. They do not hesitate in calling their employees stupid or dumb.
Directors and managers are given positions regardless of whether they have the skills to run the departments or manage employees.
Working hours are not in favor of work/life balance, salaried employees are expected to work 10 hours a day.
    Wages are very, very low.
High turnover, no one wants to be there.
They do not pay correctly, hourly employees do not get paid for 20 minutes. Hours are rounded in the owners' favor.
    Owners micromanage everything.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Respect is earned, not given.

I worked at Sierra Circuits full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Given wide latitude to do your job, work - life balance is good

    Cons

Benefits were not great. Almost all ideas have to be approved by owner, and sometimes changes were not well thought out before implementation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Owners need to allow managers to do their job.

I have been working at Sierra Circuits

    Pros

Sierra has some really great people and it is a place to learn about the industry

    Cons

Too many to list. Company is toxic. Senior management is completely out of it's depth. Any effort to change or develop company is blocked. Little or no job satisfaction and absolutely no career development opportunities. Employees are viewed as servants and little more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just sell off and let someone with real experience take a company that is looking at it's second bankruptcy to the success it should be experiencing.
