    Majority of upper management have no idea of how to do the job. Unrealistic time frames for projects.

    Pros

    Sierra had good benefits and good pay for the area. However, now that it has been sold to United, benefits will be reduced.

    Cons

    The job satisfaction was directly related to your department and the supervisor. There are great people who work in all areas of the company, and this includes some of the managers. However, there are also quite a few of supervisors and managers who are ineffective and micromanagers. There is also an unequal workload among workers in the same department. For example, some of the employees would work through lunches and stay late, while some of the employees would take a smoke break every hour, and spend the rest of their time playing computer games. It was frustrating and managers (the ineffective ones) would look the other way.

    Distribute work evenly among employees and discourage micromanaging.
