Pros – competative salary, SVRHC is very good at compensation for education, it is just difficult to work houors around school and family.
Cons – Vacations are hit and miss, can not plan in advance short staffed in places so others take up slack. Management very good at acknowledging good work, the way high up only appear to care about their bonuses and bottom dollar.
Advice to Senior Management – management is for the most part good at working with staff. Don't sugar coat everything and keep saying, it will all be ok. Listen and actually hear what is being said.
Pros – continuous remodeling of facility to give a 'state of the art' image to potential customers
Cons – management is inconsistent, what applies to one employee doesnt apply to all. they are constantly short staffed in the dept, but can not get proper staffing due to hiring freezes, or 'budget issues', therefore over-working their current employees.
Advice to Senior Management – stand behind your techs, get all managers on the same page and do away with favoritism in the dept. disciplinary action must be consistent for all, including management/lead techs.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
