    Fair

    Designer (Former Employee)
    Sheboygan Falls, WI

ProsThe culture is pleasant and relaxing to work in.

ConsManagement lacks communication, direction, follow-through, and lack of accountability. Not much support regarding career advancement.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore support of career paths for individuals wanting more advancement out of their career. Need to be much more "forward thinking" and aggressive in their pursuit of excellence at all levels.

    Not focused

    Senior CHEMIST (Current Employee)
    Miamisburg, OH

ProsGood place to get some experience

ConsThey are more worried about 5s, process improvement, and ISO than getting the work completed and getting orders shipped on time.

Advice to Senior ManagementHow about putting people in management that actually know what management is!

    Disappointing

    Procurement Specialist (Former Employee)
    Saint Louis, MO

ProsPeople I worked with were professional and tried to do the best they could under the circumstances. Decent benefits and location.

ConsThe overall atmosphere and moral is negative. In the area I worked (Procurement) there was a high rate of turnover and general dissatisfaction with upper management.

    Typical large corporation

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsPart of a global corporation, so there are many opportunities to grow
    Decent benefits
Flexible schedule available depending on your job function

ConsBecause the company is so large, communication is a huge problem. It may take 4-5 emails to get the answer you were looking for. Decisions are made slowly. Overall the company is a big sluggish beast that cares about nothing more than their stock value. This should be nothing new if you've worked in corporate America

Advice to Senior ManagementLose the ego.

Working at this place is a waste of your time.

    Selector (Former Employee)
    Milwaukee, WI

ProsThe ability to cross-train and learn new skills.

ConsIntimidated by employees who speak up about any concerns. No advancement opportunities to employees who work hard only to employees who they like. No union!

I've seen worse in other large corporations

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsIf you like corporate structure: this is a regulated place with a lot of hierarchical levels.

ConsPersonal ideas not welcome. Speak if addressed to. People have to watch their backs. Positions were terminated abruptly and no explanation given.

    Money equals money

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Saint Louis, MO

ProsThese folks are amazing and long suffering...they work like dogs to achieve impossible goals many of them, so mgmt. level can bonus.

ConsThe culture used to be embodied in the phrase employees equal stockholders, equal customers. This at least verbalized a balance of sorts. There is no growth, work/ life or implication of balance currently. It's all about the money, no matter the body count.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry caring for your employees instead of squeezing each lemon dry so you can go get a younger, cheaper one. Bring back balance. Think about work life balance and true flex schedules instead of fighting this. and bring back all the jobs sent overseas. Employ more in the US again.
