OK company, but many employees are unsatisfied with the way they are treated by management.

    Pros

Pro's are the 401K which consists of 4.25% employer contribution (even if you don't contribute), and 50% matching up to 6%.

    Cons

EXTREME MICRO-MANAGING Employees treated like children, and not professionals. Employees treated like "your replaceable" politics determine your future

    Advice to Management

Your employees determine your success, treat them that way!

    Pros

Marit-based raises Exceptional 401k Upward mobility Fast-growing and fast-paced Exciting projects

    Cons

Stressful deadlines High employee turnover Young average employee age

    Advice to Management

You've consistently hired young, recent college graduates. This is good, but should be balanced by hiring experienced workers from elsewhere in industry to decrease turnover.

    Pros

Many opportunities to share your knowledge and experience.

    Cons

No recognition and no respect type atmosphere at the Isotec site....if people on the floor do not like you, no matter how much talented and deserving you are, they will target you well enough that they get rid of you sooner than the management hired you!!!

    Advice to Management

Please get rid of those immature personals who are trying to kill the company. Your immature manager and supervisors are killing this site by their faulty decisions and hollow procedures in order to operate this place. Your immature manager fired an employee because the employee was suspected to be posting the truth on Glassdoor. You do not need to bother to get rid of me if my suggestion does not suit you or make you angry......because I am already resigning soon. There are certainly few more better places for my future!!! But please do not leave these so called supervisors and managers free to target any talented and growing knowledgeable stars......the one who was most deserving and valuable has already left this site.your manager and supervisors are just targeting such people for the sake of their own survival.....Please do not let them play with these growing people's future and career. The Isotec site is certainly NOT for those people who are highly qualified and scientifically ambitious.

    Pros

Benefits were excellent, There are yearly events to get employees involved with the community. Work from home, inf necessary or bad weather, was not a problem.

    Cons

Some work silos, but those barriers are coming down. Not enough bonuses for people not in management. Some cost saving, process improvement ideas come from under-management, but it is not rewarded. Salary increases way too small. It does not keep up with inflation or health care increases.

    Advice to Management

Share the wealth. The salary increases are way, way too small. Way too much outsourcing. There should be a limit on H1B visas.

    Pros

Flexible with work-life balance. Opportunity to have a positive impact on science and the advancement of human health. Good corporate citizenship.

    Cons

Salaries are suppressed, even for highly qualified and talented people. Risk averse to the point that innovation is stifled, both scientific and business-wise.

    Advice to Management

If risk is tolerable, that doesn't really come through to the lower levels. The message we get is everything has to be a winner, and that's just an impossible expectation.

    Pros

flexible starting time. . benefits aren't too bad. Not too much else is good there. 401k is good.

    Cons

Management is terrible. pay is not that good. sick time is terrible. Working conditions not good.

    Advice to Management

FAR too many "layers" of management and not enough 'worker's.
