I worked at Silicon Forest Electronics

    Pros

Owners are great people to work for, they treat you like family.
They have many opportunities to grow and encourage education. They give to the community.

    Cons

Some poor communication with some of the management. (not owners) Work flow is based on how the economy is doing.
    Insurance benefits could be better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some of the people that were in management while I was there look out more for themselves then the company as a whole.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Silicon Forest Electronics full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

As a remote employee, I was able to work from home. The position allowed for networking opportunities and personal development. The company participates in STEM outreach events and charitable causes. Personality workshops to stimulate understanding and cooperation between employees.

    Cons

Constant meetings reduces productivity. Lack of communication within corporation. Lack of structure and sense of urgency or severity of issues. Unwillingness to address problems. Family members and long-term employees on the payroll not pulling their weight financially. Executive teams' unwillingness to evolve with new and emerging trends to capture new clients. No 401K matching. No compensation for cost of living.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A business is not a charity, but it is a relationship.
