Advice to Senior Management
There are far too many reinvention of wheel within ST Engg, which is wasteful and not productive, eating into P&L and hence affecting our bonuses. Because ST Engg compromises of more than 10,000 employees in Singapore, senior management really need to have a good and far foresight and be very attentive to the employees level, to prevent such overheads.
Pros
Undeniably, a well-established company
Good stepping stone
Cons
Little room for promotion for non-engineering positions
Salary offered is below market rate + long working hours
Pros

Those staying around there.

Do not do false advertising on the job scope
Pros
A place for people who only wants to get by day by day without putting in effort. Relatively good bonus payout every year even if company don't seem like making money. They will never sack locals.

Makes individual feels comfortable with mediocre output in the long run . No challenge. Always putting and pushing blames to others when things goes awry. No sense of responsibility and pride from everyone, including the management
Advice to Senior Management
Implement better working culture, emphasize on training and development for employees. Streamline management team, encourage competition among employees. Implement better reward system
Pros
The working environment is pretty casual and employees leaves on time. It is a good place for family life with very little overtimes in Technical Services Department.
Cons
The management is old school and practices top-down management. There is little communication other than instructions to get the tasks done.
Advice to Senior Management

inject some creativity
Pros
Pay is quite high. They are quite slack on interns and they do not demand you to wear office wear even.

There is too much politics. The work is boring, it's all searching from online engines and copy and pasting to your report.

More practical work can be given to interns, or there can be field trips or even some rotation for interns to get a feel of the different companies under ST Kinetics.
