I have been working at Singtel full-time for more than a year
Pros – Its only good if you join as a middle grade manager and above or you are looking forward to retirement the moment you join because the organisation does not have any habit of recession or sacking of staff
Cons – Poor career progression for entry level staff.
Still function like a government despite it being a listed companies with plenty of associates around the world.
Too many layers of approval to clear for any project initiatives
Advice to Senior Management – Please wake up and get the right people for the right projects instead of trying to make do with whatever resources you have or hiring the wrong people for the wrong jobs
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Singtel full-time for more than a year
Pros – Many things to learn
Good location
Well known company (sometimes for the wrong reasons)
Good health plan
Cons – Promotions is slow
Pay increments are really very incremental (small amount of increments annually)
Very bonus heavy (low base, 3-4 months bonus brings it back up, but this deters talent)
Long work hours (I assume many places are the same now)
Poor senior management engagement
Advice to Senior Management – Review talent identification and retention program
Move from bonus heavy to attractive base pays
Keep up the good work on health plans

Pros – Great colleague, very good place to learn about telco business. HQ is here in Singapore, so support is never an issue.
Cons – Support is never an issue if you could escalate high enough. Politics prevents most task from being easy.
Advice to Senior Management – Let the politics stays at your level, let the ground people do their job.
