    Pros

great product, the company is making money, but theyre not resting on their laurels and always striving to do better, whether in programming, marketing or IT

    Cons

way too many silos, and the fiefdoms dont trust each other

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Great coworkers, fun to be involved in what goes on the air

    Cons

Bad management, feels impossible to hire good people, little room for advancement, terrible salary. They continue to want more and more without adding jobs or increasing budgets. Work/life balance is not so great. DC office feels like the ugly stepchild to NYC office.

    Advice to Management

Hire better people and take the time to fully train them. Do a better job of communicating with employees that are in different cities.

    Pros

SiriusXM has a great halth benefits package. As a Response agent, they offer flexible working hours with paid time-off and voluntary time-off. Starting pay is significantly above minimum wage and average for an entry level job in this area.

    Cons

Response agent responsibilities are limited and redundant. Opportunities for advancement exist, but are incredibly competitive and come open seldom.

    Advice to Management

Your strongest support will come from your subordinates. Upper management is difficult to reach at best, and obstinate at worst.

    Pros

Good people, stability with the company. Good benefits. Decent office space and easy to interact with employees from anywhere. Learning new things daily.

    Cons

No consistency across organizations in terms of flexible work environment. Need to understand work / life balance more.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the praises but really listen to employee feedback. Have more understanding of what employees really wan and /need. Boost morale! Implement a work / life balance environment.

    Sometimes too much down time.

    Advice to Management

Continue with hands-on experience. That's what truly matters in the real world.

    Pros

Glad to have worked with a several talented people.

    Cons

IT has clearly always been seen as a cost here, and although I am not complaining about the reality of it, this fact just shows too much in the general attitude of the management, and in the morale of the tech folks due to the inequality of working conditions, training opportunities, and lack of transparency in incentives, between departments.

    Advice to Management

Have a vision, show confidence in your leadership and follow through with optimistic changes.
